As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on the Data & Insights Team, you will be a key leader in architecting, building, and maintaining the Insights Tool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development of new features and improvements for the Insights Tool, leveraging Next.js and React to create highly interactive and performant dashboards and reports.
- Implement complex data visualizations, including advanced use of Mapbox for geographical analysis and data overlays.
- Work across the stack to enhance the performance and reliability of the data-serving PHP & Symfony APIs.
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in both the front-end rendering and API response times to ensure a fast, seamless user experience.
- Set high coding standards, conduct thorough code reviews, “mentor and help other team members grow
- Contribute significantly to the technical roadmap, architectural decisions, and project planning for the Insights Tool.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of professional experience in fullstack senior development.
- Expert proficiency with Next.js and React.
- Strong experience with PHP and the Symfony framework (or similar MVC frameworks) for building robust APIs.
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern state management, and API integration (REST/GraphQL).
- Fluent in English
- Nice to have: Hands-on experience with Mapbox (or similar geospatial visualization libraries).
