About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Native Android Developer with strong Kotlin expertise to design and build advanced Android applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile technologies, writes clean and maintainable code, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive Android interfaces
• Implement robust, scalable, and maintainable code
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
• Write unit tests and ensure application reliability and performance
• Optimise applications for maximum speed, performance, and security
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding best practices
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years of experience in Android native development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack components
• Experience with:
  • MVVM / Clean Architecture
  • Jetpack Compose UI
  • Coroutines & Flow
  • RESTful APIs
  • Dependency Injection (Hilt / Dagger)
  • Room / SQLite
• Strong knowledge of UI components, animations, and Material Design principles
• Experience with Git and version control systems
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
