QA Lead (Software Quality Leader)

About the role

We are looking for a professional to lead our quality team, ensuring that the delivered functionalities meet the defined requirements and maintain the quality standard expected by our clients.

We are looking for someone with practical experience in software testing, an analytical profile, leadership skills, and good communication to work directly with development, testing, and support teams.

Main responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the QA team.
• Create test plans and validation scenarios for new functionalities.
• Distribute activities and monitor the productivity of the testing team.
• Ensure that deliveries align with the requirements defined in the tasks.
• Perform homologation of new system versions.
• Validate bug fixes and monitor regression tests.
• Analyze problems reported by the support team and identify possible causes.
• Assist in prioritizing fixes and improvements.
• Monitor the quality of deliveries made by developers.
• Upload and validate versions in homologation environments.
• Perform database queries for information validation and problem investigation.
• Work together with development, support, and management to ensure product quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience with software testing.
• Experience in creating test cases, scenarios, and test plans.
• Experience with functional testing and regression testing.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis.
• Ability to investigate problems and identify root causes.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Organized, analytical, and proactive profile.
• Experience in team leadership or coordination of QA processes.
