Cloud Infrastructure Specialist - SRE/DevOps

RTM, the integrator hub of the financial market, seeks to support its clients and partners in the architecture of multi-cloud solutions, using various technologies that underpin the Brazilian financial system.

We are looking for someone to join the Cloud Solutions team, with a DevOps culture, who will participate in the architecture and execution of continuous improvement of our hybrid environment, based on Openshift, OpenStack, and VMWare, and who is willing to study and maintain different technologies and software that support our clients.

We expect you to be a curious, self-taught person who seeks information and knowledge, and shares it with the team.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and support Openshift/Kubernetes clusters.
• Support complex applications, using resources such as Service Mesh (Istio) and Network Policy (Calico).
• Assist colleagues, partners, and clients in the use of containers.
• Participate in the migration of the environment to IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
• Develop scripts for task automation.
• Seek continuous improvement of environment security in all your activities.
• Assist in the definition and implementation of monitoring, alerting, and automation systems that ensure environment stability.
• Research, study, test, and implement new technologies and systems for continuous improvement of the environment and to meet client needs.
• Transfer knowledge to direct customer support and 24x7 monitoring teams, so they can operate in the environment without your support.

Essential qualifications:

• Experience implementing OpenShift clusters or other Kubernetes distributions.
• Experience maintaining containerized systems.
• Experience with OpenStack virtualization environments or similar.
• Programming knowledge for task automation, with Ansible, Python, or similar.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes.
• In-depth knowledge of GNU/Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of network architecture.
• Technical English for study and meetings with partners and suppliers.
• No bias against learning and working with different environments and technologies.

Differentiators:

• CKA, RHCE, LPI, and similar certifications.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes networking, using Calico and BGP.
• Experience with KubeVirt.
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure services.
• Experience with the Prometheus/Grafana/Loki stack.
