Show originalThis position is responsible for supporting daily IT operations, working with local, regional, and global business and IT colleagues.
This position is responsible for practical software client support, including
LAN/WAN network support, telephony support, printer support.
Support for end-of-life PC Laptops, Desktops, and Engineering Workstations, including full client staging and PC restoration and recovery.
Global Information Security (GIS) with information security support, including viruses, backups, recovery, audits.
Help Desk incident resolution against service level agreements. Identify, track, and resolve IT-related issues with global teams.
Manage end-user support and IT support for executive offices/senior management in a hybrid work environment (Office and Home).
Work on projects, including real estate projects, installation and maintenance of network equipment, communications, AV.
IT asset inventory management / stock counts / audits.
IT vendor support, including telecommunications service management, IT vendor procurement.
Participate in the planning and execution of IT programs.
Weekly release of schedule boards in management systems.
Manage local computer rooms.
Planning and execution of business continuity.
This will require supervision of IT support components, including the Computer Room, Hub Rooms, PC, Network, Telephony Infrastructure, Applications, Executive Office Support, Vendors, for example, telecommunications providers.
Requires being an expert in troubleshooting and hardware repair. Well-versed in PC part replacement.
Other key aspects of the role include IT interlinking in the execution of the disaster recovery plan and execution of the business continuity plan.
The position will also be involved in project activities - coordinating IT upgrades, new IT implementations, IT upgrade programs, corporate real estate-driven expansions that drive restructuring and other IT activities.
The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with global, regional, and local-based multifunctional teams and solution partners, and work effectively in a team environment, as well as possess excellent organizational skills. Flexibility to support outside business hours and across multiple locations is also required.
