Hard Skills (Technical Requirements and Languages)
Experience in AMS (Application Managed Services): The candidate must understand the dynamics of sustaining applications after the "go-live," knowing how to handle SLAs (delivery deadlines) and ticket volume.
Incident Management (ITIL): Solid knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management). They don't need to be an expert in a specific language, but they must know how to diagnose where the error is occurring in legacy systems (Non-SAP).
Languages (The critical point):
Intermediate/Advanced English: Mandatory for global meetings. They need to be able to explain a technical problem to a team in Asia or Europe, for example.
Intermediate Spanish: Essential for day-to-day operations, since the focus is Latin America (Argentina, Chile, Colombia, etc.).
Legacy/Non-SAP Systems: Experience with systems that are not standard ERPs, such as custom software in .NET, Java, or local billing/logistics platforms.
2. Soft Skills (Behavioral Skills)
Interpersonal Communication: Essential for bridging the gap between the "business user" (who reports the problem) and the "external vendor" (who developed the system).
Priority Management: In a global environment, everything seems urgent. The consultant needs to know what impacts the Ingredion operation the most to prioritize support.
Cultural Resilience: Ability to handle different work cultures within LATAM and at a global level.
