Job: Senior Research and Development (R&D) Analyst - Product

We are looking for a Senior Research and Development (R&D) Analyst with a focus on Product in the engineering area to join the team in Campinas/SP.


Position Objective: Your mission will be to lead the development and improvement of products, components, and processes, encompassing everything from concept to industrialization, with a strong focus on innovation, technical feasibility, and competitiveness. You will act as a key technical reference, promoting integration between Corporate, Processes, Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Production areas. Additionally, you will lead strategic and complex projects, ensuring the delivery of robust solutions aligned with technological and market trends.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects focused on the development of new products and the continuous improvement of existing products, ensuring compliance with all technical, aesthetic, regulatory, and cost requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth technical and economic feasibility analyses for strategic projects.
  • Prepare, review, and approve technical drawings and 3D models, with a special focus on metal parts, as well as manage product documentation.
  • Plan and supervise validation tests for materials, components, and prototypes, proposing assertive technical solutions based on the results obtained.
  • Act as Product Leader on projects, ensuring efficient delivery of technical documentation and adherence to schedules.
  • Monitor and support the Industrialization team during the construction of molds, stamping tools, fixtures, and other production means, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Act as the primary technical interface with suppliers and strategic partners.
  • Support and guide the manufacturing area during the introduction of new products and processes.
  • Actively lead cost reduction initiatives (PRI).
  • Develop projects focused on Eco Design and the use of sustainable materials.
  • Promote and organize the documentation necessary for Patent registration.
  • Develop new technological innovation platforms.
  • Act as a technical mentor, guiding and developing junior and mid-level analysts on the team.
  • Actively participate in product change management (FEP).
  • Represent the R&D area in technical forums, both internal and external.

Required Qualifications:

  • Full Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics) or equivalent Technological Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience working in product development processes in the engineering field.
  • Advanced knowledge of 3D and 2D part modeling software (CATIA, Solidworks, AutoCAD).
  • Advanced knowledge of product structures and manufacturing processes, including plastic injection, stamping, and assembly.
  • Intermediate Office 365 suite, with advanced Excel skills (use of logical and dynamic functions) and proficiency in PowerPoint (PPT) for technical and managerial presentations.
  • Intermediate English level B2.
  • National Driver's License (CNH) Category B.

Differentiators (Desirable Requirements):

  • Complementary technical courses in Machining or Mechanics.
  • Course in Metrology and/or Reading and Interpretation of Technical Drawings.
  • Experience with ERP software (Totvs, DataSul, SAP, or similar).
  • Knowledge in Power BI.
  • Knowledge in simulation tools (CAE).
  • Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
