Main Responsibilities

Testing and Automation

Gather and document test scenarios based on functional and business requirements.

Execute manual and automated tests ensuring the quality and reliability of applications.

Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, and BDD.

Perform REST API tests, validating integrations between services.

Ensure defect traceability, test evidence, and documentation throughout the entire development cycle.

Integration and DevOps Culture

Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with the development and DevOps teams.

Promote quality practices from the beginning of the development cycle, focusing on continuous testing and frequent deliveries.

Work in agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, actively participating in squads.

Analysis and Database

Work with relational databases for data validation using SQL.

Perform validations in databases such as SQL Server, DB2, and PostgreSQL.

Conduct critical analysis of tests, proposing improvements and identifying risks and impacts on systems.

Requirements

Experience with software testing and test automation.

Experience with Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, and BDD.

Experience with REST API testing.

Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, or similar).

Experience with SQL for data validation.

Experience with quality tools such as Jira and Zephyr.

Knowledge in continuous integration and DevOps culture.
