Requirements:

Main responsibilities: Extract and structure data from the Protheus ERP for strategic analysis. Build analytical and predictive models using data science tools. Develop data pipelines and integrations with Data Lakes or Data Warehouses. Create dashboards and management reports to support decision-making. Work with data from Protheus modules such as: Financial, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Tax, Retail / POS. Identify patterns in customer, sales, and operational behavior. Automate analyses using scripts and statistical models. Technical skills: ERP and data Strong knowledge of Protheus data structure Experience with data extraction via database or APIs Knowledge of ERP modules (Financial, Sales, Logistics, Retail) Languages and analysis: Advanced SQL Python or R Data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn) BI and visualization Tools such as: Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik Data engineering: ETL / ELT Data integration Data Warehouse Data Lake Infrastructure and tools Linux environment Version control (Git) REST APIs Cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) – a plus Profile differentials Experience with predictive models for sales and demand Knowledge of retail data or customer behavior Experience integrating Protheus with BI or Analytics platforms Knowledge of ADVPL for data extraction or manipulation

Main Activities:

The professional will act as a Senior Data Scientist, responsible for leading data analysis projects and developing predictive models. Activities include collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large volumes of data from various sources. The candidate must apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract insights and support strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Senior Data Scientist will work on creating and maintaining dashboards and reports, using visualization tools to communicate results clearly and accessibly to different levels of the organization. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, such as data engineering and product development, will be essential to ensure the proper integration and implementation of the developed models. The professional will also be responsible for exploring new tools and practices, contributing to innovation and continuous improvement of processes. Conducting tests and validations of the models, as well as analyzing their performance over time, is an essential part of the work, ensuring the robustness and accuracy of the proposed solutions. Finally, the Senior Data Scientist is expected to share their knowledge with the team, promoting training and workshops to disseminate best practices and strengthen the data culture within the company. It is essential to stay updated on market trends and new technologies that can add value to ongoing projects.
