A Seons Sistemas, a foreign trade (comex) software company based in Itajaí-SC and hosted on AWS, is undergoing a turnaround: we want to seriously accelerate our development with AI and build the engineering foundation that supports speed with security. We are looking for a Tech Lead / Platform Engineer to lead this front.

What you will do Design and deploy the engineering foundation for our development: automated tests, continuous integration (CI), staging environment, git flow with pull requests, and code standards. Structure the governed use of AI in development, with guardrails, review, and testing. Map and document our ERP (PHP / MySQL / AWS), understanding system dependencies and reducing the risk of evolving it. Support and elevate the technical level of the team: code review, mentoring, and process definition. Translate technical decisions into business language for the board, always bringing the trade-off, cost, and path.

Requirements Solid experience as a senior / tech lead / platform engineer with production systems. Real experience with legacy code: entering a large system you didn't write, mapping what each change impacts, and evolving it safely. Mastery of PHP, MySQL, and AWS. A culture of real quality: automated tests, CI, and disciplined versioning are a natural part of your work. Use of AI in development with judgment — you accelerate with modern tools, but with review and testing, never accepting code blindly. Good communication and availability for on-site work in Itajaí/SC.

Differentials Experience with foreign trade, fiscal, financial, or logistics systems. Experience building test/CI culture on legacy bases. Experience leading AI adoption in engineering teams.
